A Christmas Poem

Oh how I wish that I could write.

About that wonderful, miracle, starry night

When angels flew down about the earth.

And heralded in chorus , the baby's birth

They placed a star , 'cause they were able,

Right near the inn, above the stable.

And there inside, atop the hay,

The lamb, the infant, baby lay.

Wrapped in swaddling clothes was he,

With three great kings on bended knee.

And all the heavenly host did sing,

'Cause Mary bore, our newborn King.

And still, the angels celebrated his birth,

Shouting:"Good will to man, and peace on earth!"

So let that wonderful feeling seize us,

'Cause God has given us ,our savior Jesus.

And let us honor, God's gift from above,

Let's abide with each other, in peace, and with love........
